Regional 3D printing support

3D Printing Services Across Western North Carolina

From our Hendersonville base, WNC 3D Printing supports makers, households, creative teams, and small businesses throughout Western North Carolina. Asheville is a secondary service area, along with nearby communities that need practical parts, prototypes, models, or repeatable short runs.

Services for WNC projects

CAD and rapid prototyping

Develop a concept, check fit with a quick prototype, and refine the geometry before the final print or small run.

Replacement parts

Use photos, measurements, or a physical sample to recreate non-safety-critical parts that are difficult to source.

Small-batch production

Make a consistent set of functional parts, organizers, fixtures, props, or product components in manageable quantities.

Props and display work

Produce cosplay pieces, figurines, lithophanes, and display objects with a material and finish suited to the application.

Choosing a material

Material selection depends on heat, UV exposure, flexibility, impact, detail, and intended use. PETG is a durable general-purpose option; ASA is better suited to many outdoor applications; TPU provides flexibility; PLA is often a practical choice for prototypes and display pieces; and resin supports fine detail on smaller models.

PETG and ASA

Choose PETG for impact and chemical resistance. Consider ASA when outdoor heat and UV resistance are important.

TPU

Use TPU for flexible parts such as grips, feet, bumpers, and protective covers.

PLA

PLA is useful for many visual prototypes, models, organizers, and low-heat applications.

Resin

Resin is suited to small, detailed models and display pieces where surface detail matters most.
